Specialty Seeds are able to source a very wide range of ryegrasses, wider than what we have listed on our website. A small range of these other alternatives are listed below but if you are interested in something outside of these please don't hesitate to contact us.

Aus Vic Ryegrass:
Aus Vic Ryegrass was selected for improved stock safety and improved dry matter production.

Nui Ryegrass:
Whilst Nui is an older variety - it has withstood the test of time and is still widely used throughout Australia and the world. In some Victorian trials it has shown the best long term persistence, whilst delivering similar DM yields to some of the newer varieties.

Victorian Ryegrass:
The most commonly used variety for many years, and although outclassed by most of the newer varieties, shows more drought tolerance than most other ryegrass cultivars. Rust is a problem with Victorian and it also has high endophyte levels which can cause staggers in sheep when grazing at particular times of the year.

If you require any further information on any of these grasses or any other cultivars not mentioned here please don't hesitate to contact us.
