What sort of grass are you after?
We stock:
- Annual, Short Term, Medium Term Ryegrass (9 months - 2 years) -
Fast growing grasses lasting 9 month to 2 years, Good winter growth and feed value
- Hybrid Ryegrass: (1-5 years) -
Fast growing varities last 1 to 5 years depending on summer conditions and endophyte status
- Perennial and Long Rotation Ryegrass: (3 - 5 years) - Diploid / Tetraploid
An excellent base for a permanent pasture mix, Good palatability and establishment.

Annual, Short to Medium Term Ryegrass: (Sowing Rates: Diploid: Alone: 20-25 kgs per ha: Mixed: 15-18 kgs per ha: Tetraploid: Alone: 25-30 kgs per ha: Mixed: 18-22 kgs per ha)
Apollo Tetraploid Annual Ryegrass: - Older type that is late flowering very quick to establish with a high dry matter yield. Devour: - Tetraploid westerwolds type, selected for increased dry matter yields. Very high dry matter production. Click here for more information. Concord: - Italian type older cultivar now however still has a strong farmer following. Kano: - Italian type with excellent dry matter production proven by its extensive trial program throughout New Zealand. Has very strong winter growth even for similar Italian ryegrasses. Persisting well into the second and third year under the right conditions. Click here for more information. Sonik: - Italian ryegrass. New release from Cropmark Seeds. Selected for very fast regrowth, dense tiller numbers leading to increased persistance. Back to top
